Microsoft has already issued the first set of bug fixes for the product and they are hoping this would boost their sales.
A lot of consumer and businesses haven’t considered Windows Vista until they feel Microsoft has already released the final fixes to make the operating system stable.

Microsoft is releasing Windows Vista Service Pack 1 on March 19 through Windows Update according Amazon.
Amazon lists Vista SP1 retail copies as becoming available next Wednesday, March 19.
This should be good news as a wider audience would be able to install Service Pack 1.
