Palm has announced that they have released the final version of the desktop manager for Windows Vista — Palm Desktop 6.2

Palm Centro with Windows Vista, Windows XP

You would figure the latest version of Palm desktop would also support the latest 64 bit versions of Windows Vista as well. Not to be however, which leaves a couple of very good options: no longer purchase Palm products or get a Mac instead. Maybe I’ll just do both….

Just purchased my 2 Palm Centros a few days ago and have three computers at home running Windows Vista 64 bit. I will now be taking my Palm Centro back and getting a Blackberry or other phone. Too bad Palm isn’t smart enough to support 64 bit Vista. They would have made a lot of money on the purchases I would have made for different equipment for both my phones. Dissapointed and telling everyone I know.
