Windows Vista Virtual Gathering

by Milo on November 21st, 2007

There will be a virtual gathering for Windows Vista Community held by The Vista Forums on November 26 at 8:00 am. Prizes such as NOD32 antivirus would be given out during the virtual meeting.

TheVistaForums has around 20,000 members and throwing a question whenever you encounter a problem is almost always answered by the sheer large number of users.

Forum owner Larry Lim has this to say:

It is our way of thanking our members for sticking with us all this time. We also thought that it would be fun to try and break our record of 2,570 online active users, that was set on the eve of Windows Vista’s launch.

I am thankful to Chris Dale of Eset for their generous sponsorship. Eset was selected because their NOD32 was consistently the top choice for antivirus software in the polls we ran on the forum. I am using Eset’s new Smart Security myself and I really like it. Unlike other security suites, it uses little system resource, the antispam and antispyware works well in the background, and the antispam does what it promises.

If you are a Windows Vista user, make sure you join our community - our members usually get the questions answered almost immediately. Conversely, if you are a Vista guru, help others on the forum and get the recognition you deserve. Now is the best time to register at TheVistaForums.com because you can join the virtual gathering and stand a chance to walk away with those cool prizes.

The official announcement for the Virtual Gathering is found here.

I can’t stand microsoft products anymore.. In my opinion Microsoft Office is the only thing that they did well..
I got impressed by the new mac os x Leopard…And thats why I moved to apple’s OS..
You should do what this mac ad says: give up on vista!
