I’d advise anyone considering Vista as an upgrade to FIRST read as many reviews as you can find and I’d omit any reviews given by MS or their affiliates for obvious and biased reasons. The truth and fact is there is NO real reason to upgrade to Vista and if you are considering buying a new PC loaded with Windows, I’d advise you to either get it with XP or leave it with the retailer. Better yet, check what you can get with Linux or Mac as the new Leopard OSx will be out on Oct 26 and it will run Windows, Linux and Mac with Bootcamp, Parallels or VMware. It’s the most versatile OS out there bar none as it will even run Unix applications.
