Extension for Windows XP
Microsoft has extended the availability of Windows XP SKUs from January 31, 2008 to June 30, 2008.
Likewise, Windows XP Starter Edition will be available until June 30, 2010. OEMs on the other hand will remain available until January 31, 2009.
Support for Windows XP has been extended until April, 2014.
This is good news to all those people still wanting for Windows XP; and for people who have long retired Windows XP for Windows Vista, this doesn’t mean anything.
