To take full control of any file:
1. Right click file, select properties.
2. Click on the security tab, then click on your username.
3. Click edit, then click your username on the pop up screen
4. Check the box labeled “full control” under the allow heading
5. Click the Ok button until everything closes

There is just so much bad publicity about Windows Vista that so many people keep on bashing the latest operating system from being incompatible with devices, unstable, too pricey and so on. TechRepublic has released a document which lists 76 keyboard shortcuts for Windows Vista. Personally, I don’t use keys that much and I am used to utilizing the mouse to the full extent; but for other people, they use the keys more than the mouse.

I recently bought a new Sony Ericsson cellphone and as such I installed the desktop PC software suite but unfortunately I was prompted that it didn’t support Windows Vista. A company as big as Sony Ericsson should include and updated software in their box or at least a sticker about the Windows Vista supported update.

Before you plan to upgrade your Windows XP to Windows Vista, it is best to run Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor. Microsoft has released this tool a few months back and many XP users forget to run it on their machine before deciding to delay their use of Vista.
