Windows Vista Power Buttons
The Windows Vista Power Buttons puts your entire session in memory and places your computer in the lowest possible power consumption.
I am pleased using this option and normally I would leave my computer in this state for a whole day starting on a friday night and my remaining power would just drop by 3 - 5 percent.
The Windows Vista Power Buttons can be accessed by clicking on the start menu and the button is just by the right side of the search box.
