Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 was spotted during Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in LA last week and the image found below was quickly spread over the internet after Gizmodo posted an entry about it.
It is not yet sure whether Windows Vista Service Pack 1 would be released. Gizmodo says that the service pack could be released via Windows Vista update services but I believe Microsoft is compelled to release a service pack to create a ripple of confidence throughout decision makers in upgrading Windows Vista.
Everyone is used to having a Service Packs from Microsoft and they shouldn’t start breaking that tradition with their most lucrative software. Service Packs may undermine their drive of making their software right the first time; but in the long run all people care about is a stable operating system.
