Microsoft ACT 5.0 - helps analyze compatability of application to Windows Vista
USMT 3.0 - migrates user files and settings
Windows Easy Transfer - migrates user files and settings for large scale migration.
Microsoft Solution Accelerator For BDD 2007 - guidelines and tools for migration.
The resistance of people and organizations in moving to Windows Vista can be eased through the set of tools above; it may not cover everything from a deployment perspective, but it definitely helps.

i recently bought a computer that came with vista-i had windows 98 before-i don’t understand vista-is there a way to find out how it works and are they gonna fix the problem with internet 7-this o/s seems to control me–is there a wy to learn to make it work for me–i am considering going to xp-but some say give vista a chance-give me a chance!

if any one can help me find a site or anything that can help me conquer vista home premium I would appreciate it - like how to use it to my advantage-I bought a new computer that came with this o/s and I had windows 98 before so it is a big jump - please help -plus my knowledge of computers is only intermediate-thanks in advance

You may start by disabling the User Access Control though I do not advise that in the long term:) Sometimes programs get tricky because of its complexity. In a nutshell when you encounter errors make sure you run the program in elevated privileges.
