Vista Bring Savings on Business Users
Informationweek has reported that Raikes confirmed Microsoft’s research that Windows Vista is saving business users around $35 per PC per year which is broken down as follows:
Image Management: $19
Support: $13
Security & Virus Protection: $4
Cost savings together with increased productivity by business users make upgrades more reasonable, however, I am thinking about savings that home users may get from upgrading to Vista. They already banned VMs on home edition, what will make consumers switch to Vista other than user experience?

Milo, which consumers even know what a VM is? They buy Windows because it runs the software they like, and will upgrade because it looks prettier and is somewhat safer. You give Joe Public too much credit.
