Windows Vista Build 5381.1 Released!
Microsoft has officially released Windows Vista Build 5381.1 on Microsoft Connect (actually two times because the x86 build of Vista 5381.1 turned out to be an unstaged CHK build). Internal sources have confirmed that this is “what will be” Beta 2 - in a couple more days at WinHEC 2006. What we are seeing right now with this build is a feature complete Beta without the performance guarantee (via neosmart.net).

Strange - just logged into connect.microsoft.com and an earlier version of the Beta is available in the donwloads: 5381.1 is not listed

I`v just enter the connect.microsoft.com…again…and they do have available programs…but no vista!If you can see it then tell my exactly what to write in those damnd links or search engins to direct me to vista pls

why is everyone only giving us torrent links to download windows vista???
we want direct links from microsoft.com or msdn!!! ” NOT torrents or uploaded copies from places like rapidshare, megaupload, megashares, sexuploader, etc… these we can get from but would rather become a beta tester from microsoft and get it directly from them so we have better access and know when the new releases are released and not have to wait 4 days or so before we see the new versions uploaded from other ppl that would rather hog the files then let others download from them usually…
u ppl who arent willing to share and microsoft’s tech support are no different…

Windows Vista is still long way to go to become the so called “the best” operating system. Hope Microsoft can really achieve that.
