A European agency has thrown out Microsoft’s registration of the new Segoe font that will be used in Vista. But is this new font legal or just a copy??? Segoe was an original design developed by Agfa Monotype in 2000. MS acquired the original Segoe fonts in 2003 and used them “to develop an extended family of fonts retaining the Segoe name”.
