Windows Vista games to debut at PDC
Jose Francisco over at XPSource reveals that possibly seven new games for the Windows Vista Avalon graphics engine will debut at PDC. The site carries some blurred screenshots in microdot form ~ more than a touch of James Bond here we fancy. Or is it just an elaborate tease?
Jose speculates : “All new games which will be implanted in Windows Vista will take advantage of Microsoft’s new graphic engine - Windows Presentation Foundation (Codename Avalon). During PDC 2005 next week, Microsoft will demonstrate new features of Windows Vista and possibly hand out Windows Vista Build 5219 to attendees.”
New games to be included are named as :
1. Checkers
2. Helix/Pinball
3. Solitaire/Spider Solitaire/Hearts
4. Chess
5. FreeCell
6. Mahjong Solitaire
7. Spades.
Well, game on, that should keep the excitement going for the troops.
