Google ahead of Vista in RSS feeds
Quoted in Forbes magazine, A.G. Edwards believes the impact of Google’s new offerings will be “minimal at best”, but that they had opened up a lead over Vista in content aggregating.
“With these launches, Google continues to encroach into the territory of Microsoft’s desktop operating system and Web-based tools,” said A.G. Edwards. “We note that Google’s IM offering lacks any new innovative features, but the release of its desktop content aggregator is ahead of Microsoft’s version, which is expected to be released as part of its next operating system, Windows Vista.”
